Back Already?
I had a fairly good day today. I got to stay home with my mom, so it was quieter. And I've had fun with my mom, stepdad, and pets. I do have homework to finish, but I did the hard parts already. I'm not quite ready to be back in school again either. Not yet. But I have a lot to do already. We'll see how it all goes.

School Day One
Today was my first day back to school. I enjoyed seeing everyone again. But I've missed my relaxed day. Now I have to get back into everything I got away from at school. The schedule, the liturgies, the classes, the homework, the tests. I don't want any of that. I missed my friends, the building, and the teachers. And I love the things I'll get to learn and some of the projects I'll get to do. But I don't want all the homework and things.

School Tomorrow
I may have finally found a publisher for my children's book! And I have four other books that I'm currently working on. My only trouble is that I have to go back to school tomorrow. I can't work on my stories all day like I have been. It's really disappointing. In some ways, I'm ready to go back. In others, I'd rather stay home. I'm not ready to be getting up early again and having to do homework. If there were no homework, I think I could handle it all.

Looking for a Publisher
I've finished writing my children's book and I'm really happy with how it turned out. I've printed one copy, but I can't seem to find a way to publish it for free when I'm still a teenager. No one wants to publish a book by someone who's under 18 years old. I really want to get this book out there though. Maybe I'll get lucky.

Children's Book
I was working on one of my stories today and I think it turned out fairly well. I still need to work on the title. But everything else is finished. I'm going to self-publish it. It's a children's book to help them understand that love is love, regardless of body or pronouns.

Double Update
I didn't get to update at all yesterday, sorry! I didn't have a chance to get on the computer to update my blog. I had to go to my Nana and Pop's 50th wedding anniversary. They were supposed to renew their vows, but didn't. And the dinner really wasn't that good. I mainly stuck to the appetizers, which was a plate of shrimp. I don't like that side of the family much anyway. It was good to see some of my cousins again though. They live in Pennsylvania, so I don't get to see them often. But my dad's side of the family tends to be very rude, then expect you to respect them.

SLEEP!
I've been exhausted lately and I really need to sleep. But I've gotten so used to waking up early that I couldn't help doing it today too. I couldn't go back to sleep though. I'm still exhausted, and I have a headache. I think I may be getting sick, or have allergies acting up right now. My throat's been bothering me too, and I was sneezing a lot. I hope I feel better tomorrow. I have to go to my Nana and Pop's wedding anniversary.

Last Day of Service
Today was the last day of my service. It was exhausting, having to get up early in the morning and not getting back home until late. And having to help kids all day. But their energy seems to rub off on me sometimes and gives me patience to run with them and help them. I've loved every moment I've spent with them. They were all incredible kids and I wish I could be there to help them all the time. They're all smart, I can tell. They just take a bit of extra time to learn things that others of us sometimes take for granted. I'm glad I got to spend time with them. I'm looking forward to catching up on my sleep tonight though.

Kill Me Now
Someone kill me now. I'm so tired of everyone around me complaining about me. I was fine while I was volunteering. Nothing went wrong there. It wasn't until I got to my grandma's house after that that the complaining started. I'm so sick and tired of it. I just want to scream and cry. And I want to be left alone for the rest of my life and do absolutely nothing.

Nervous
I'm a bit nervous. Tomorrow I start volunteering for my service hours. I'm working with a group of kids. I need to make sure I have a pad in before I go, otherwise I'll end up bleeding on furniture or something. I'll shower tonight so that I have time to get ready in the morning. I'm just kind of worried that I'm not prepared for this volunteering, or that the people there will be stricter than I thought about what we're doing. I'll be working with some girls that I go to school with, along with some people who work at the center. It'll just be us, since it's the summer program. I hope I do well. Tomorrow is my first day. Wish me luck!
